Rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West has reached out on social media to former U.S. President Donald Trump, asking him to help free music mogul Sean Combs, known as Diddy, who is currently dealing with legal issues.
Kanye, recognized for his candid nature, made a public appeal for Diddy’s release despite the serious allegations against him.
Utilizing his social media accounts, including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram, Kanye shared heartfelt messages advocating for Diddy’s freedom.
In one particular post, he addressed President Trump directly, tagging him and imploring, “Please free my brother Puff.” His message reflected not just worry, but a profound personal connection with Diddy, whom he referred to as his brother.
In another message, Kanye went further by labeling Diddy as both his hero and idol, acknowledging the considerable impact Diddy has had on his life and career.
Kanye’s posts showcased the strong relationship he shares with the music mogul, along with his disappointment regarding the recent events.
Kanye mentioned that he will be selling their joint Sean John collection, a venture they had discussed before Diddy’s legal issues emerged. The profits from this sale would be divided equally, as per their original agreement.
Kanye indicated that because Diddy is incarcerated, he cannot earn or collect from their business endeavors, prompting Kanye to decide that Diddy’s portion would go to his son, Justin.
“I’m selling the Sean John collaboration that I discussed with my brother before they locked him up. We’re splitting the profits 50/50…
I just learned that Puff cannot make or collect money while he’s locked up, so I’m sending his half of the money to Justin,” Kanye detailed in his post.
In his remarks about Diddy’s situation, Kanye suggested that the individuals responsible for Diddy’s legal troubles would soon be uncovered, implying his belief that the mogul’s predicament was engineered by others.
