Tony Umez, the renowned Nollywood actor, is celebrating a momentous occasion as his daughter, Tonia Chinelo Umez, recently achieved a significant milestone during her service at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp in Adamawa, Borno State.
On February 4, Tonia was crowned Miss NYSC Adamawa as part of Batch C, Stream 2, and her proud father couldn’t contain his excitement. Tony took to social media to share his joy and pride, praising his daughter’s accomplishments and expressing his hopes for her bright future.
In his post, Tony Umez not only celebrated her latest achievement but also highlighted her academic and pageant success. He described Tonia as “beauty and brains” — a Mass Communications graduate with a second-class upper division from the University of Benin. Her impressive record includes being crowned Miss MASCA 2022/23 and finishing as the first runner-up in the “Face of Ekehuan Campus” Pageant 2022/23.
