Ugandan rapper and singer Recho Rey is back with a fiery new single titled “Ekiboobo.”
The title “Ekiboobo” is in Luganda, a major language spoken in Uganda, and it translates roughly to “The Noise” or “Commotion” in English. In this track, Recho Rey brings high energy and confidence, addressing haters, competition, and the chaos she commands when she steps into the spotlight.
Blending hip-hop with Afro-influenced beats, Ekiboobo is a statement of dominance, self-assurance, and lyrical power. Recho Rey continues to show why she’s one of the leading female voices in East Africa’s music scene.
