South African artists Airic and Mjolisi have joined forces to release their collaborative project, the Soft Spot EP, which officially dropped on April 30, 2025, under Ujuu Records. This six-track collection showcases a fusion of Afro-pop and contemporary sounds, reflecting the duo’s versatility and commitment to storytelling through music.
The EP opens with “Dlala Ngento,” a vibrant track that sets an energetic tone for the project. Following this, “Amaphilisi” features Navigator Gcwensa, blending smooth vocals with rhythmic beats to explore themes of love and healing. “Ungishela Ngamanga,” featuring Nolly M, delves into the complexities of deceit in relationships, offering a poignant narrative complemented by melodic harmonies.
