Over ten years ago, when Diamond was beginning to make a name for himself and Wolper was a rising star in the Bongo film industry, the two became romantically involved. Despite their public careers, they kept their relationship private, and even after their split, both stars managed to maintain a level of discretion. The details surrounding their breakup remained largely unknown, but the media buzzed with speculation. Years after their relationship ended, however, Diamond and Wolper managed to reconcile, forming a close friendship. Diamond even attended several of Wolper’s events, showing their renewed bond.
In a recent interview, Diamond revealed just how painful his breakup with Wolper was. He described the emotional toll it took on him, saying it was so intense that it inspired him to write his hit song “Mawazo.”

“Jackline Wolper broke my heart so badly when we were together. The heartbreak was so deep that it inspired me to write her the song ‘Mawazo,’” Diamond confessed.
