Tanzanian singer Mbosso has made the decision to leave Diamond Platnumz’s renowned record label, WCB (Wasafi Classic Baby), and has even wiped all content from his social media accounts.
According to Baba Levo, a close ally of Diamond, this departure was done in mutual respect. Diamond Platnumz is said to have granted Mbosso the freedom to leave without any financial liabilities toward WCB, an act of goodwill reflecting Mbosso’s discipline and work ethic.
Baba Levo mentioned that this move would allow Mbosso to pursue new opportunities outside of WCB, while also paving the way for the label to potentially sign fresh talent in 2025.
Additionally, WCB is currently in the process of recruiting new artists. A representative from the label stated that they are looking for at least six new artists with singing and songwriting skills, Tanzanian citizenship, and prior song recordings.
