Ugandan singer-songwriter David Lutalo, hailing from Luwero District, Kampala, drops his latest single “Koko” on June 27, 2025 via his Da Hares label. The song, whose title means “pure affection,” is a silky-sebene Afro‑pop love anthem sung in both Luganda and Swahili, showcasing Lutalo’s emotive vocal delivery and romantic lyricism.
Clocking in at just under four minutes, “Koko” finds Lutalo returning to the feel‑good, heartfelt grooves that have been his signature since his breakout in 2008 with “Kapapaala,” while exploring deeper emotional undertones.
